Finally

I feel as though I do not have to watch any television shows or movies because I am reading this book. Atlas Shrugged brings me everything a television show brings me. It brings me suspense, romance, humor, and thrill. I love that Ayn Rand goes into the minds of every character so that we know exactly what everyone is thinking. I also love how each character has their own view on what a virtuous man is and each view is slowly revealed through all of the chapters. So far, Rand has given me exactly what I have wanted since I began reading this novel. Since the first scene between DAgny and Rearden I have wanted them to become something more. Rand kept giving little clues showing that it could possibly happen. Then, finally, she went into Hank’s mind and I saw that Hank really did have some feelings for Dagny but he di not know how to act upon them. The next clue was when Rearden’s wife said she had to defend him because her friends said he was having an affair with Dagny. And then finally, boom, it happened. They were both so overcome with emotion over the John Galt line and were tired of suppressing their true feelings they finally acted upon them. It has taken forever to get to this point, but it leaves me asking myself the question: Will something bad come from this?
